Mrs. Annie Merle Carrigan

On February 27th, 1944, Annie Merle Miller made her grand entrance into the world to the late Clarence and Lou Della Miller. On October 6, 2024. Annie peacefully walked the stairways to Heaven at South Arkansas Regional Hospital. Annie was a member of St. James Baptist Church under leadership of the late Bishop George Calloway. Annie graduated from Washington High School in El Dorado, Arkansas. Class of 1962. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; Pearlie and Fannie Brodie, Husbands: Henry Lee Williams and Will Carrigan, and her beloved daughter Aletha Williams. Annie Legacy Lives on through her daughter, Julia Daniels Vaughn of Eldorado, AR. Stepchildren, Barbara Carrigan of Little Rock, AR, Wilbert Carrigan of Eldorado, AR, and Martin Carrigan of Ohio. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Christopher Williams, Brandon (Niya) Williams, Jerry (Bryshana) Gillaspie, all of Little Rock, Arkansas; Latoya Vaughn of Eldorado, AR, and Cierra (Roy) Downs of Morrilton, AR; Great Grands; Nylah, JaMya, Trinity, Laila, Ari, Xarianna, Jaxon, and Aiden; Godchildren, Michael Miner, Chasity Cones, Taleiyah Lumsey, & the community children to cherish her memory; One Uncle, Anderson Miller; Son in Love, Kenneth Vaughn. Celebration of Life services will be held Friday, October 11th, 2024, at the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium in Eldorado, Arkansas at 1:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Arlington Cemetery in Eldorado, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC. Minister Jimmy Miller, Eulogist. A visitation will be held Thursday {Oct. 10th}, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., at R.L. Reed Funeral Home in Magnolia. Celebration of Life services will be held Friday, October 11th, 2024, at the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium in Eldorado, Arkansas at 1:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Arlington Cemetery in Eldorado, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC. Minister Jimmy Miller, Eulogist. A visitation will be held Thursday {Oct. 10th}, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., at R.L. Reed Funeral Home in Magnolia. For anyone wanting to view Mrs. Annie M. Carrigan that will not make it to her services, she will lie in state at the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium from 11:00 a.m. until service begins to accommodate El Dorado and the surrounding communities. “For precaution due to the COVID-19, Masks are Encouraged but Not Required While Attending the Services and During Visitation Hours. However, wearing masks ensures safety for you and others. Thank you.”
