Mr. Chesz'vell Juishonthel "Chesz" Witcher

Chesz’vell Juishonthel Witcher, lovingly known as “Chesz,” age 18, of Magnolia, Arkansas, transitioned from this life on Sunday, July 6, 2025, in McNeil, Arkansas. He was born on December 25, 2006, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Angelina Beasley and Chester Witcher. A 2025 graduate of Magnolia High School, Chesz’vell was a young man whose heart radiated love and loyalty. Known for his infectious smile and vibrant personality, he had a presence that commanded any room and a spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. To know Chesz’vell was to love him—deeply and genuinely. He was a fierce friend, standing "ten toes down" for those he loved, and always expressing that love out loud. Though he walked to the beat of his own drum, his intentions were pure, and his heart held no malice. Chesz’vell found joy in dancing and was often seen in videos keeping up with the latest trends—his talent and energy lighting up social media feeds. He had a natural gift for making people laugh and bringing comfort to those around him. Family—whether connected by blood or bond—was everything to him. And above all, he loved his parents BIG. Though his time here was brief, he spent it encouraging others to reach their full potential, even when he didn’t always see his own greatness. A friend once said, “Chesz was the positive energy for anyone having a bad day”—a true reflection of his beautiful soul. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Doris Beasley, Roberta Ellis, Ferris Ellis, Earnestine Butler, and Ollen Butler; great-grandparents Emma and Theodore Stephens, and Lora Bell and Sam Oliver; and several aunts and uncles: Doris Burnell, Sherri Adams, Linda Joyce, Sherry Watson, Ma’Dunya Childress, Mary Armstrong, LeeVester Madison, Kelvin and Kenneth Butler, Kelly, Charles, Charlie, Benjamin, and Theodore Stephens, Jr., Joe Stephens, and Rickey Watson. Chesz’vell leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents: Angelina Beasley (Kendrick French) and Chester Witcher (Kirstin); his brothers: Greg Zackery (Ashanti), Kwa’Marion Witcher, and Cheston Witcher, all of Magnolia, AR; his sister: Laquencius Zackery of Waldo, AR; and bonus siblings: Kendarrius French, K.J. Carey, Antonio French, Kendajah French, and Kentasia French, all of Magnolia. He is also survived by his grandparents: Nelson Watson, Sr. of Magnolia, AR; Juanita Ellis (George) of Lufkin, TX; and Chester Lee Witcher (Ersalene) of Waldo, AR. Cheszvell’s aunts include: Becky Biddle (Randy), Connie Young, Anita Watson (Rusty), La’Trina Jordan (Marcus) all of Waldo, AR; April Smith (James), Trisha Box (Jerome), Venetta Witcher (Gregory Colvin), Althea Witcher (Reggie), and Raelyn Watson all of Magnolia, AR; Yvette Watson of California; Demetra Watson of Dallas, TX; Roquelle Watson of Texarkana; Kentiera Harrell of Little Rock, AR; Katrina Jabar (Joshua) of Dallas, TX; Ersala Jackson (Anthony) of Dallas, TX; Mary Worthy (Lloyd) of Little Rock, AR; Patricia Green (Hamp); Verna Duke (Larry); Lynn Shephard; Lynn Gray of California; Lois Hunt of Diboll, TX; and Winnie Mae Sharp of Magnolia, AR. Uncles include: Lynn Franklin (Stephanie) of Hot Springs, AR; Tony Watson (Retha) of Dallas, TX; Larry Oliver (Loretta) of Diboll, TX; Darrell Watson (Wanda) of Magnolia, AR; Ricotta Lambert (Heather) of Waldo, AR; De’ Unce Beasley (Jamidria) of Waldo, AR; Darrell Lynn Watson (Franshan) of Texarkana; Ronnie Watson of Waldo, AR; Nelson Watson, Jr. (Sharon) of Waldo, AR; Jerome Witcher of Texarkana; and Chester Lee Witcher, Jr. (Dorothy) of Waldo, AR. Special friends include: K.J. Carey and Jabari Edwards. He also leaves behind many special cousins, including Oshay Witcher, Takhi Witcher, Ciara Dismuke (Colby), Tracey Oliver (Tara) of Diboll, TX, Robin Oliver (Gerald) of Diboll, TX, La’Xavier “Boosie” Burrell of Diboll, TX, Damitra Burrell, Kat Burrell, Tarayn Oliver, Juanesha Witcher (Jason), Maurianna Easter, Shavondrick Hunter, LaKwesi Young (TaTianna), and Sharari Adams. He was also blessed with a great aunt, Delma Metcalf; great uncle, Courtney Stephens; godparents, Linda and Richard Askew; and a host of extended family members, classmates, and friends who will miss him dearly. Though his life was short, Chesz’vell Witcher made a mighty impact. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love him. Celebration of Life services will be held Sunday, July 13th, 2025, at the Columbia District Auditorium in Magnolia, Arkansas at 12:00 noon, with burial to follow at Smith Cemetery in Waldo, Arkansas, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home LLC. Pastor Timothy Biddle, Eulogist. A visitation will be Friday {Jul. 11th} from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., at R.L. Reed Funeral Home. “For precaution due to the COVID-19, Masks are Encouraged but Not Required While Attending the Services. However, wearing masks ensures safety for you and others. Thank you.”
