Ms. Marnita Niacole Sterling

Marnita Niacole Sterling of Stamps, AR, entered eternal rest at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR on March 18, 2021. Marnita was born on June 10, 1989 in Hope, AR. She was the daughter of Juanita Sterling and Sylvester “Buster” Davis. She was preceded in death by her father, grandpa, grandma, and a host of aunts and uncles. On September 16, 2020, Marnita gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Marleigh Khalis Robinson. Marnita was a graduate of Lafayette County High School class of 2007. She started her career as a CNA at Homestead Manor. She worked at Encompass Hospice and later started working for Dierksen Hospice until her death. She was also a part-time worker at the family business, Sterling Place. Marnita loved spoiling her baby girl, spending time with her boyfriend, family, and her best friends. Marnita was loved and will be missed by many. She leaves her precious memories behind to her baby girl Marleigh K. Robinson, Stamps, AR; her loving mother, Juanita Sterling, Stamps, AR; Marleigh’s PawPaw, Raymond Gilkey, Stamps, AR; her boyfriend, Terrell Robinson, Waldo, AR; (13) aunts, Cynthia Johnson, Helen Stricklen, Evelyn Sterling, Murdis Pearl Sterling, Deborah Brooks all of Stamps, AR, Marilyn (Jesse) Chappell Magnolia, AR, Angela (Todd) Stuart Hope, AR, Shelsea Mitchell, Andrea Tatum both of Texarkana, TX, Eloise Henderson, Evertine Spearman both of Texarkana, AR, Faye Knight Rochester, MI, Shirley Mitchell Des Moines, IA; (11) uncles, William Sterling, Matthew Sterling, Lee Dolphus (Edna) Adams, Harold Copper all of Stamps, AR, Ivory Sterling, Bernard (Silvia) Sterling both of Fort Worth, TX, Raymond Burdette Lewisville, TX, Clarence Smith Shreveport, LA, Frankie (Freda) Mitchell Camden, AR, James Mitchell Phoenix, AZ, Eddie Henderson Des Moines, IA; one brother, KaJahrion Davis, Texarkana, TX; one sister, Kimoan Sears Magnolia, AR; and a host of cousins and friends. Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Lafayette County Football Stadium (Keith Stadium) in Stamps, AR, at 3:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps, AR, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home. Eulogist Rev. Frankie Mitchell. Visitation will be Friday, March 26th, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, “Everyone Is Required to Wear A Mask While Attending the Services and During Visitation Hours”.
