Mrs. Rose Mary McGraw-Smith

Mrs. Rose Mary McGraw Smith, 59 years old, of Magnolia, Ark. passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, at her home with her husband Lee Otis by her side. Rose Mary was born July 17, 1962, to Mr. Jessie Lee McGraw Sr. and Mrs. Pinkie Maxine Cooper McGraw in Magnolia, Ark. She was raised and taught to believe in and trust God. As a small child she became a member of Jones Chapel B. C. attending Sunday School, BTU, vacation Bible School, singing in the Choir, and she ushered. In 2010 she became a member of Spiritled Church, where she remained a member until her transition. Rose Mary married Mr. Lee Otis Smith January 6, 1985, together they had 4 children: LaTonya, Desmond, Eric, and Joshua. Mrs. Smith was preceded in transition by her parents, her daughter (LaTonya); 1 sister (Alicia Grissom); 3 brothers (Clifton Ray McGraw, Richard Charles McGraw, and Elroy McGraw). Rose Mary (“Ro”, “Big Mama”) will live on forever in the hearts and minds of her family and friends: her husband, Lee Otis Smith of Magnolia, Ark.; 6 sons: Desmond Smith of Magnolia, Ark., Eric Smith of Little Rock, Ark., Joshua Smith, Douglas Smith and DeWayne Smith all of Magnolia Ark., Kendrick(Keisha) Smith of Waldo Ark.; 6 daughters: Dena(Willie) Baker, Natalie Smith, Rose Marie (Lincoln) James, Pearl Smith, all of Magnolia, Ark., Laverne (Dexter) Beasley of Waldo, Ark., and Victoria Smith of Monroe La.; 4 brothers: Jessie McGraw Jr. of Texarkana, Ark., Scottie (Josie) McGraw of Hampton, Ark., Melvin (Beverly) McGraw of Magnolia, Ark., and Mark (Alisa) McGraw of Hot Springs, Ark.; 3 sisters: Virgie (Walter) Morris, Angeleita McGraw both of Magnolia, Ark., and Sandra (Larry) Randall of Camden, Ark.; 1 aunt: Mary McGraw of Magnolia, Ark.; 2 uncles: Clifton Cooper and Melvin Cooper both of Magnolia, Ark.; cousin/sister Deborah Finley Easter of Magnolia, Ark.; 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Aug. 28th, at 2:00 p.m. at the 23rd Psalms Cemetery in Magnolia, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC of Magnolia, AR. Rev. Roderick Totter, eulogist. Visitation will be Friday evening, Aug. 27th, from 2:30-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, “Everyone Is Required to Wear A Mask While Attending the Services and During Visitation Hours”. This ensures safety for you and others.
