Sister Betty Lou White was born October 7, 1946 in Magnolia, Arkansas, to Oscar Watkins and Tennie Sargent-Watkins. Sister White was a Columbia High School graduate. She was a member of Saving Souls Ministries. Sister White was a member of the NAACP, City Counsel, Baptist State Convention, AARP, and many more. She worked at Magnolia Specialized Services, Willamette, and a Teacher’s Aide. She is preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband, Richard White; Siblings, Juanita McGaha, James Edward Watkins, and Oscar Watkins, Jr. Cherished memories will remain with: (5) Children, Marilyn Jones, Marcellus White (Sharon), Mitchell White (Joyce), Monsigne White (Keisher), and Marsha White (Christopher); (2) Siblings, Jeanette Watkins, and Tyree Watkins (Joyce); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Graveside Celebration of Life services will be held Tuesday, May 19th, 2020, at West Cemetery in Magnolia, Arkansas, at 11:00 a.m., under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home.
