Ms. Kathleen Davis

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but take heart, I have overcome the world. Sister Kathleen Davis, daughter of the late Mae Bell Chappel and Vernon Davis, was born I Waldo, Arkansas on February 9th, 1949, and departed this life peacefully on September 26, 2019 at her home in Magnolia, Arkansas. Kathleen joined the Homes Near Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and remained a dedicated member until poor health prevented her physical attendance. She was preceded in death by both her mother and father, brother Michael, niece Debra and grandson Ethan. Left to cherish her memories are sisters; Hazel Davis of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Rosalind Davis of Little Rock, Arkansas, six brothers; Vernon Davis (Linda), Eugene Davis (Pearl), Howard Davis all of Magnolia, Arkansas, Robert Davis of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Charles Davis (Nadine) of Fairbanks, Alaska, Glenn Davis of Waldo, Arkansas, four sons; David Jamerson, Kenneth Jamerson (Debra) all of Magnolia, Arkansas, Johnathan Jamerson (De) of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Eric Keener (Lia) of Texarkana, Texas, eight grandchildren; Katherine Henderson, Joy Davis, Jhakobi Jamerson, Arrielle Steward, Christopher Jamerson, Bryson Keener, Arian Keener, Layla Keener, 3 great grandchildren; Jayden Davis, Elijah Jamerson, and Auja Jamerson. Celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 5th, 2019, at Homes Near Missionary Baptist Church, in Magnolia, Arkansas, at 3:00 PM. Burial to follow as Smith Cemetery in Waldo, Arkansas. R.L. Reed Funeral Home LLC in charge. Rev. Kenneth Ross officiating. Visitation will be Friday, October 4th, 12-4:30 PM.
