Ms. Roshemya A'Nequan "Shemi" Murria

Roshemya A’Nequan (Shemi) Murria was born July 29, 1989, to Ruth Ann Murria and Lawrence Lee in El Dorado, Arkansas. She departed this life on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center. Shemi attended Magnolia Public Schools and graduated in the year of 2007. Her activities while attending school were of many such as Panther Pride, Color Guard, and Band. Shemi also attended Southern Arkansas University, shortly after graduating high school. While in college, she was a member of Encore and Legit Blaze. Shemi later joined Texarkana Panthers and became a daughter of the Eastern Stars. She worked as a cheer coach to the Renegades and helped with the Magnolia Jaquars. Shemi loved and tutored all her children in the community, young and old. Her impact on their lives will follow them forever. Shemi was a proud and faithful member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. During her membership at NZMBC, Shemi was a member of the Choir, Usher Board, and served as the Praise Team director. Shemi was also an assistant coach/bookkeeper for the surrounding area softball teams. Shemi was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ray Charles Williamson, maternal grandfather, John Ray Murria Sr., (2) aunts, Otha Kirkindoff, and Jennifer Dismuke, paternal step grandfather, Floyd Dale Ford, (2) Special Cousins, Tressa and Kim Watson. Shemi leaves to cherish her memories with: her loving parents, stepmother, Tequila Lee; maternal grandmother, Helen Murria; paternal grandmother, Gladys Ford; (4) aunts, Brenda Murria, Wilma Foreman, Sharon Lewis, and Janice Easter; (2) uncles, Johnny Ray Murria, and Fred Maxwell; (11) siblings, Jemnetha Williams, Jamissa Johnson, Kimber Williamson, Sherri Clayton, Angela (Marcus) Jackson, Sherelle (Web) Massey, Londyn Lee, Jasmine Carey, Ashley Hicks, Ricardo Lee, and Jaylon Gordon; extended brothers and sister, Braylon Murria, Neiya Howell, Dedrick Turner, and Dale Gray Jr. Shemi also left to cherish her: a host of nieces and nephews including, Ma’Kiyah French, Amiya Jackson, R’Moni Rose, Rashna Oston, Chelsea Smith, Ashton Hicks, and Trayden Murria. Lastly, Shemi leaves to honor and cherish her life, her best friend, Jazmine Goza, and a host of family and friends who love her dearly. Graveside Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, November 21st, 2020, at Kings Hill Cemetery in Magnolia, Arkansas at 11:00 a.m., under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home. Rev. DeWayne Thompson officiating/eulogist. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, “Everyone Is Required To Wear A Mask While Attending The Services And During Visitation Hours”.
