Mr. Terry Lynn "Jew" Stevenson

1st SGT. Major Terry L. Stevenson, affectionately known as “Jew,” was born on March 21, 1956, Mozee and Edwenter Stevenson in Magnolia, Arkansas. He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, in Dallas, TX. At an early age, he united with St. Mark Baptist Church in Magnolia, Arkansas. Terry attended school in the Magnolia School District—where he played football and was a track star. He graduated from Lawton High School in Lawton, Oklahoma. Terry joined the United States Army and served our country dutifully until retirement in 1996. He later moved to Clarksville, TN, where he worked for Trane Air-HVAC Co. for over 20 years. When Terry’s health failed, he moved to Duncanville, TX, to be cared for by his sister, Patricia Stevenson-King, until the Lord called him home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mozee and Edwenter Stevenson. Those left to cherish precious memories of him are: his children, Jemica Stevenson of Bossier City, LA, Natasha Stevenson of Fort Worth, TX, Tiffany Stevenson (Scott) and LaKeisha Stevenson both of Grand Rapids, MI; Tamika Stevenson and Jerome Stevenson both of Mainz Germany; and Aleyia Stevenson of Knoxville, TX,; siblings: Jerry Stevenson of Eldorado, AR, Carol Stevenson (Johnnie) of Fort Worth, TX, Lee Andrew Stevenson (Lillian) of Bryan, TX, Jerome Stevenson (Ann) of Dallas, TX, and Patricia Stevenson-King (Thomas) of Duncanville, TX; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one living aunt, Geneva Carter; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly. Graveside Celebration of Life services with Military Honors, will be held Saturday, November 28th, 2020, at 23rd Psalms Cemetery in Magnolia, Arkansas at 2:00 p.m., under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home. Rev. Marcus McDonald eulogist. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, “Everyone Is Required To Wear A Mask While Attending The Services And During Visitation Hours”.
