Ms. La'Tonya Denise Blankenship-Daniel

Ms. La’Tonya Denise (Tonya) Blankenship was born in Camden, AR, on February 2, 1986, to Earl D. Blankenship and Cassandra Henderson. God called this special angel home to be with Him on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Christus St. Michael Hospital. At an early age, Tonya accepted Christ and joined Homes Near Missionary Baptist Church and later moved her membership and dedication to Mercy and Grace Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. T.D. Ellis. Tonya was a 2004 graduate of Magnolia High School. After high school, she found her career in healthcare. She was a dedicated CNA for over 10 years. Tonya’s life was defined by this profound capacity for empathy, leaving a trail of comfort and kindness wherever she went. Beyond Tonya’s professional life, she found a deep sense of purpose as a beginner digital content creator. Tonya gave so much of herself to the world, to her children, to her family and her friends, that she leaves a void that feels impossible to fill. She was 40 years young, a milestone that should have been the start of a new chapter, but now she can get her rest in her Heavenly home. Tonya is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Earl J. Blankenship; maternal grandparents, George and Glendoshia Henderson; and uncle, Douglas Henderson. Sister Tonya leaves behind her memories and teachings to three daughters: La’Keitha Daniel, Darrika Beal, and Harmonei Beal; one son, Darrien Beal; parents, Cassandra (James) Wyrick and Earl D. Blankenship; paternal grandmother, Ollie Blankenship; sisters: Shauretta Smith, Sha’Kendra Easter, Talanyce Henry, Alicia Tyus, Keyonna Blankenship, Yasmena Blankenship, Dajha Blankenship, and Kenyatta Blankenship; a special friend, Darritte Beal; her children’s god-parents, Whitney Beasley-Thrower, Terry and Daphne Biddle, Jasmin Carey, and Mary Sapp; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, February 21st, 2026, at R.L. Reed Funeral Home Chapel in Magnolia, Arkansas at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow at 23rd Psalms Cemetery in Magnolia, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC. Visitation will be Friday, {Feb. 20th}, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at R.L. Reed Funeral Home in Magnolia, Arkansas. “For precaution due to the COVID-19, Masks are Encouraged but Not Required While Attending the Services and During Visitation Hours. However, wearing masks ensures safety for you and others. Thank you.”
