Ms. Latetia Elaine McDonald

Latetia Elaine Jones McDonald was born April 27, 1969, in Lewisville, Arkansas, as the only child of Mary and George Jones. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, and paternal grandparents Bernice and Chester Jones, as well as maternal grandparents Roosevelt and Dorothy Cummings. She joined Greenville Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. In 1987, she graduated from Stamps High School. After graduation, she attended Southern Arkansas University. She was employed by Stamps/Lafayette County School District as a paraprofessional. While working as a paraprofessional, she went to further her education and obtained her Bachelors of Science degree from Southern Arkansas University. She continued to work for Lafayette County School District until her health failed. In her spare time, she loved to read, watch tv, and enjoy friends and family. When she was stricken with kidney failure, she never grumbled and accepted doing dialysis treatments. As her health deteriorated, she still had something positive to say. She enjoyed answering posts on Facebook, always giving encouraging words. She departed this life on October 8, 2025, at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia, Arkansas. She leaves her cherished memories with her son, LaBrindon McDonald of Stamps, Arkansas; her daughter, Brianna McDonald of Texarkana, Arkansas; her granddaughter, Justyce McDonald of Texarkana, Arkansas; her Aunt, Bonnie Daniels of Stamps, Arkansas; her Special Cousins, Kerri (Anthony) Sterling, Janet (Larry) Walker all of Stamps, Arkansas, Nekea Walker, of Jackson, Missouri, Freemon Walker of Houston, Texas; a Special Friend, Eric Young of Stamps, Arkansas, and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at Greenville Baptist Church in Stamps, Arkansas at 2:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC. Visitation will be Friday, {Oct. 17th}, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at R.L. Reed Funeral Home in Magnolia, Arkansas. A final viewing will be held before services begin, so please govern yourselves accordingly. “For precaution due to the COVID-19, Masks are Encouraged but Not Required While Attending the Services and During Visitation Hours. However, wearing masks ensures safety for you and others. Thank you.”
