Mrs. Lucille Pearlie Mae Cooper-Jenkins

Mrs. Pearlie Mae Cooper-Jenkins closed her eyes and took her rest on February 1, 2024, at The Springs of Magnolia in Magnolia, AR. She was born October 31, 1949, to Pearl Turner and Jonah Cooper, in Magnolia, AR. She attended Columbia School. Pearlie Mae was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend. She worked in the healthcare field and for Mr. Buster Gunnel for many years until her health began to fail. She cared for many people in the community even when her health was failing. She married her childhood playmate Eddie Easter Sr. in 1964, and to this union, one son was born. On June 27, 1965, she welcomed a bouncing healthy baby boy named Eddie Easter Jr., whom she called “Baldy”, into the world. Many years later, she married Mr. Jimmy Jenkins. Pearlie Mae confessed her faith in Christ as a young girl. Later in life she joined True Worship Church where her daughter-in-law became her pastor. She remained a faithful member until her health started to decline. She was preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents, Saint and Sarah Howard Green; 6 brothers, and 3 sisters. She leaves to cherish her loving memories with her only son Eddie Easter (Pastor Joyce) of Waldo, AR, 3 grandsons, Denzel Easter of Magnolia, Arkansas, Darius Todd, Corey Todd both of Waldo, AR; bonus grandson, Anthony McCray; granddaughter, LaPrincess Todd of Waldo, AR; 6 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, JB Cooper, Richard Cooper, and Gary Jones; 4 sisters, Christine Salisbury, Linda Moore, Eula Fay Brown McDaniel, and Fannie Barhams; best friends, Ms. Dorothy Lewis, and Ms. Fannie Bell Scott. A very special longtime friend, Daniel Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, February 10th, 2024, at R.L. Reed Funeral Home Chapel in Magnolia, Arkansas at 2:30 p.m., with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Waldo, Arkansas, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC. Minister Joyce Easter, Eulogist. Visitation will be Friday, {Feb. 9th}, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., at R.L. Reed Funeral Home in Magnolia, Arkansas. “For precaution due to the COVID-19, Masks are Encouraged but Not Required While Attending the Services or During Visitation Hours.” However, wearing masks ensures safety for you and others.
