Ms. Noble Cooper

Ms. Noble Lean Greer Cooper, affectionately known as “Miss Tootie,” was born June 21, 1958, in Magnolia, Arkansas, to the late Willie and Gracie Greer. On Sunday, May 19, 2024, our treasured and beloved Noble entered eternal rest. At an early age, Noble received her spiritual foundation and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. At the time of her passing, she was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Al Brewer. She was a 1976 graduate of Magnolia High School. After school, she pursued a career in childcare. Noble’s love for children was on full display when she was employed by the community’s favorite Patton Street Daycare under the ownership of the late J.B. Smith and Ms. Dorothy Smith. The profound impact that “Ms. Noble Lean” made on her babies was everlasting and, until this day, the children from her time at Patton Street still hold her in the highest regard because of her unwavering love and light that she showed to them. She never failed to acknowledge her (now fully grown) babies with a hug and an “I love you” when she would see them out in the community. After her tenure at Patton Street, she worked for the chicken plant, Chick-a-Dilly, and (at the time of her passing) private sitting for a special lady, Ms. Betty. Noble married the love of her life, James Cooper, in 2011. They were married until his passing in 2023. She was blessed in the area of love again; and was in a special relationship with Billy Wyrick at the time of her passing. Noble truly was the light of every house she walked in. She thoroughly enjoyed shopping, getting her nails done, taking trips, gambling, and spending time with her cherished family and friends. Her warmth and love for all will be sorely missed in this life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Gracie Greer; one sister, Dorothy Mallory; one brother, Jimmy Dale McCray; and her special friend, Christine Story. Those left to cherish beautiful memories are her dear children and legacy: Tammie Alexander, Porsha Alexander, Jermey Lewis, and Kimberly (Gib) Rone; bonus children, Quantisha Cooper and Mallorie Wyrick; grandchildren: Marlin Williams, Tyler Alexander, MarNiya Williams, Jayce Thorns, Jamarion Alexander, Jayden Lewis, Jacardan Lewis, Jaxson Lewis, Jaylee Lewis, Piper Lewis, Paris Rone, Kylie Rone, Auria Rone, and Kacie Rone; sisters: Anna Stephens, Ola Ross, Lois (Don) Henry, Dorothy Cooper, and Mona Kay Curry; brothers: Robert (Charlotte) Greer, John Greer, Ralph Greer, Roy Calvin (Sherry) Greer, Joe Copeland, Sr. and Mark Greer; special friend and sister-in-law, Jackie (wife of John); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts. Ceremonial Cremation services will be held Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at R.L. Reed Funeral Home Chapel in Magnolia, Arkansas at 11:00 a.m., under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC. A visitation will be held Friday {May 31st}, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., at R.L. Reed Funeral Home in Magnolia. “For precaution due to the COVID-19, Masks are Encouraged but Not Required While Attending the Services and During Visitation Hours. However, wearing masks ensures safety for you and others. Thank you.”
