Mr. Roivandez Mar'Quan "TaTa" Robinson

“Every good and perfect gift comes from above.” -James 1:17 On November 2, 1976, the Robinson family welcomed an angel to their lives—Roivandez Mar’Quan Robinson, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a shining beacon of light, love, and joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Affectionately known as “TaTa,” Roivandez was filled with love and reciprocated it wholeheartedly to all he encountered. His genuine affection for people was evident in the way he greeted everyone with a warm smile and open arms. TaTa never met a stranger. His playful winks, contagious smiles, and heartfelt hugs will be deeply missed. Tata was a humbled spirit who needed little but appreciated everything he received. Music and sports were his passions, with rap being his favorite genre. He admired artists such as LL Cool J, Tupac, and Biggie, and had an unwavering obsession with Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. TaTa’s presence brought warmth and inspiration to everyone around him, and his legacy of love will forever remain in the hearts of those lucky enough to be part of his journey. Roivandez graduated from Waldo Public School in 1997. He dedicated many years to Magnolia Specialized Services until he could no longer attend. Nevertheless, he always held a special place in his heart for his school, classmates, and the devoted staff. Roivandez Mar’Quan took his final breath at Wentworth Place, surrounded by his family. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Margie Robinson of Waldo, Arkansas, along with his two brothers: Duborris (Pearl) Robinson of Waldo, Arkansas, and Michael (Demetric) Robinson of Waxahachie, Texas. Roivandez is also survived by three sisters: Teresa Turner of Dallas, Texas, LaWanda G. Robinson of Waldo, Arkansas, and Robinette (Russell) Everage of Arlington, Texas. He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, including Bryan, Kevin, Devy, Vanessa, D’Andria, Mark, D’Andre, Howard, Duborris Jr., Shirmekas, Marqiven, Shona, Michelle, LaWrence, and Royce, as well as a host of extended family and friends who will hold his memory dear. Roivandez will be reunited in heaven with his paternal grandparents, Howard and Pearline Robinson, his maternal grandparents, Earnest Samuel Sr. and Willie B. Samuel, his father, Roy Gene Robinson, and his sister, Maxcine Watson. While they have departed from this earthly home, we take solace in the knowledge that Roivandez Mar’Quan has returned to the embrace of the Lord, where he will find eternal peace. Well done, good and faithful servant. -Matthew 25:23 Celebration of Life services will be held Friday, March 7th, 2025, at Westside Church of Christ in Waldo, Arkansas at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Smith Cemetery in Waldo, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC. Minister Donald Howell, Eulogist. A visitation will be held Thursday {Mar. 6th}, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., at R.L. Reed Funeral Home in Magnolia. “For precaution due to the COVID-19, Masks are Encouraged but Not Required While Attending the Services and During Visitation Hours. However, wearing masks ensures safety for you and others. Thank you.”
