Mrs. Rose Mary Williams

Sister Rose Mary Williams was born on November 25, 1945, to the late Eunice and Gussie Mullins. She was born and raised in Village, Arkansas. On Saturday, April 18, 2026, Sister Rose Mary Williams departed this life surrounded by her loving family. At an early age, Sister Williams confessed her belief in Christ. Later in life, she became a faithful member of New Bethel Baptist Church and later united with First Baptist Church of Calhoun Heights. On July 31, 1971, Sister Williams united in holy matrimony with the late Lee Otis Williams, Sr. From this union, three children were born: Lee Oliver, Kizzy, and Kirstie. Each of them became members of First Baptist Church of Calhoun Heights under the leadership of the late Reverend Phil Brook Sharp. Sister Williams was a devoted and active church member who served in many capacities, including President of the Youth Department, Sunday School Teacher, Mission President, Mission Teacher, Deaconess, choir member, and a longtime worker in the finance department. She was also an active member of the Columbia District Choir. She was a graduate of Columbia High School in Magnolia, AR. In addition to her service in the church, she worked at Firestone, Amfuel, and owned a Food Dairy. Throughout her life, Sister Williams was a devoted mother, a dedicated worker, and a woman who truly loved the Lord. Her children and grandchildren would often say she was the best cook in the world—she cooked with love. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she nurtured deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eunice and Gussie Mullins; her husband, Lee Otis Williams, Sr.; two sisters, Doris Cooper and Peggy Keener; and two brothers, Odell Mullins and Charles Jackson. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her children, Lee (Tiffany) Williams of Magnolia, Arkansas; Kizzy (Dexter) Crockett of Magnolia, Arkansas; and Kirstie (Adrian) Maxwell of Scott, Arkansas; a bonus son, Lee Otis (Therasa) Williams, Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas; five granddaughters, Khari Williams, Desiree Williams, Daizia Lee, DaKisiya Young, and Kaleece Crockett; one great-grandson, Ezra Watkins; two sisters, Elois (Robert) Smart of Houston, Texas, and Elizabeth Mullins of Magnolia, Arkansas; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends—all of whom will dearly miss her. Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Calhoun Heights in Magnolia, Arkansas at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow at 23rd Psalms Cemetery in Magnolia, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC. Minister Lacy Miles, Pastor/Eulogist. A final viewing will only take place Saturday {May 2nd} during services, so please govern yourselves accordingly. “For precaution due to the COVID-19, Masks are Encouraged but Not Required While Attending the Services.
