Bro. Tyrese De'Marion Mullins

On October 10, 1999, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, the world was blessed with the cry of a lion's roar-so strong it could wake the whole house. That roar belonged to Tyrese Mullins. His mother, Catena Mullins, and his father, John Wright, were overjoyed to welcome their precious baby boy into this world. Tyrese was full of life, lighting every room he entered. As the years went on, he attended various schools, making many friends along the way. People often wondered how he got the nickname "Doda." That name came from his Pawpaw Don, and it stuck-becoming a name filled with love, laughter, and memory. No matter what Tyrese might have been going through, or what someone else was facing, he had a gift for lifting spirits. Whether it was cracking jokes (even the ones that weren't that funny), flashing his smile, or breaking out in dance-his favorite form of expression-Tyrese knew how to bring joy. Dancing was his heartbeat, his way of letting the world feel his soul. He was courageous, willing to take risks, never letting fear or doubt stop him from chasing what he wanted or trying something new. His spirit was bold, his energy contagious, and his presence unforgettable. Writing this tribute feels unreal, because his purpose here wasn't finished. It is hard to say goodbye when the story still feels unwritten. But this is not goodbye-it's until next time. So, to My brother, my heart, my guiding light, you turned the darkest days so bright. With laughter, dance, and fearless soul, you filled the world and made it whole. Though life was short, your love was long, A living poem, a joyful song. And though the pain cuts deep inside, I know you're still right by my side. So, rest, dear brother, free from strife, Your spirit dances into life. Not farewell but see you soon—we’ll meet again beyond the moon. Tyrese was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Gracie and Willie Greer, and Callie and Troy O’Guinn; his paternal grandparents, Dorothy and Adam Wright; grandmother, Clara Mae Mullins; and aunt, Cheryl Messer. Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Catena Mullins of Magnolia, AR; stepfather, Ronnie Ham of Magnolia, AR; father, John Wright of Magnolia, AR; sister, Marshaden Halton of Pine Bluff, AR; brothers, Antonio Weaver and Keynan Davis, both of Magnolia, AR; grandparents, Lois and Don Henry of Magnolia, AR; grandfather, Hollis Lee Mullins of Village, AR; grandmother, Olivia (John) Wesson of Magnolia, AR; nieces, Khloe and Kyndal Halton; nephew, Kyle Halton; and a host of other aunts, uncles, other relatives and dear friends. Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, October 11th, 2025, at R.L. Reed Funeral Home Chapel in Magnolia, Arkansas at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow at Perry Cemetery in Emerson, Arkansas, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC. Visitation will be Friday, {Oct. 10th}, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at R.L. Reed Funeral Home in Magnolia, Arkansas. “For precaution due to the COVID-19, Masks are Encouraged but Not Required While Attending the Services and During Visitation Hours. However, wearing masks ensures safety for you and others. Thank you.”
